Floral Clocks

A very good evening fellow blogging friends! I hope you are all having a good weekend:)

Now I know I don't very often do more than one post in a day, but I am just finishing off packing my samples and crafty bit's for tomorrows show and I thought I would just share another card with you as I probably will not get chance tomorrow.  Hopefully I will get chance to demo this one too:)

  • The card measures 6"x6"....another small card for me as I normally make 7"x7" or 8"x8", but I really am beginning to like making these smaller ones!
  • I have embossed the lilac and white mats with a Die'sire embossing folder that I have had in my stash for , well let's say too long:) and never used:( but I think it goes rather well with this collection.
  • The circle die is Spellbinder - Delightful Circles and I have layered the Raindrops on Roses decorative circle die on top.
  • The stamp is from the Once Upon a Time collection - Floral Clocks....Such a pretty and delicate stamp:). I coloured it in using Milled Lavender and Seedless grapes Distress inks. I die cut it out using the small/medium die from the Spellbinder die set - Decorative Labels Eight.
  • I have stamped and die cut the Time Sentiments.
  • I made the tiny rose with the smallest 2 dies from the Vintage Floret and co-ordinating stamps.
  • The pearls are from The Hobby House

I will say good night now as I need to get a good night sleep:)

Take care everyone x

  5. Morning Nikki, A truly pretty card, I love the colours, love the die-cuts, and so, so, love the stamping. The 'Once upon a Time' new collection is stunning.
You say you have used distress inks to colour the image, can I ask, do you use straight from the inkpen, or do you dilute the colours with water before colouring the image ???? The reason I ask, is that yours are lovely and softly coloured and mine always seems too 'strong' in colour !!!!
Looking forward to your shows today, although I will have to record the 9am as I will be on my way to Church halfway through.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  10. Morning Nikki, have just watched your show (& recorded it for later) & your samples were stunning. Love everything about this collection & found it quite difficult to choose what to have. Anyway placed an order with my usual supplier,
saving a fair bit on C&C prices, but they do have their uses as it enables us to see the demos. Look forward to your next show. Sue x

  14. This morning's show was just so good! I wish I'd remembered to tape it :-( The stamps looked very exciting. Your samples and demos were a delight to behold and have inspired me to be more creative with my stash. It's so easy to get stuck in a crafty rut, but your colour sense and card-making style is definitely something to aspire to.

  17. Love the colours on this card. I watched and recorded your show this morning, great demos. I was very tempted but spent this months crafty budget at the GNPS in Harrogate yesterday so will have to save up again and get the papers especially from this collection.

  18. Hi again Nikki, I absolutely loved your show yesterday, although I had thought you were doing more than one (don't know where I got that from haha). your samples were stunning as were your demo's. I could watch you demo all day !! I was tempted and had to give in and get the bundle, even though I am still paying for the last bundle of HC, but I love them so much, thank goodness for Flexipay haha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  19. Great show Nikki, so glad I taped it, the repeat on Craft Extra around 3pm ish went off air suddenly ?
and I looked and the big multi-buy had sold out! is it any wonder after seeing your absolutely gorgeous designs.
The scrapbook album was simply beautiful as are the cards. Shame the show didn't remain on air as the singles are still available? but never the less most enjoyable and inspirational.
